Mr. Kagiso Finalist, Tumelo Motang. He is establishing himself as one of the truest positive and encouraging role models in the world of pageantry. His passion for entering pageants can be traced from a year back after being crowned Mr Chief Mogale thereafter, Tumelo never looked back.
The 21-year old from Moshana village, in Zeerust takes lead in giving back to the community, as his intention is to lead by example and make it contagious towards the current generation of young boys by breaking the stigma that converts that “Boys do not cry”. Motang works with charity organizations like Abraham Kriel Bambanani where he aids and lend a helping hand to children astounded with social issues such as HIV/AIDS and abandonment.
“The journey has been nothing but amazing as I have discovered a lot about myself and the importance of helping others without expecting nothing in return”, Tumelo concedes.
The crowning of Mr Kagiso will be taking place end of November this year in Soweto, Johannesburg. Tumelo shares that even though the end is near, his quest to prove himself in the competition is still incredibly high, and he adds that he has learned that not everything will be given in a silver platter and that hard work is always key.
